Model Sheet is one of my favorite stages in the process of Animation making because this is the great opportunity for me to express the gesture, pose and characteristic features of my characters. The key point in my style of making model sheet for character is the application of figure drawing and study of human body that have to be matched with the historical and fictional content of the story. It means that the height, proportion and musculature of character have to be fit with the real characteristic of people during historical time or the fictional situation based on my observation or research. The reason why this stages is very important to me because it will impact to my idea of expressing the movement, action and emotion of character in the most realistic way even though it have been animatedly illustration. Overall, that is how I make a model sheet for my characters and I will keep continue to develop it in the following projects.
