ANIMATION PROJECTS
Over years of experimenting with different mediums, genres, historic stories and types of Animation as a student and a internship Animator, these Animation Projects are the artworks that express not only my creativity from what I have experienced in life but also my personal artist statement. All of these work are the memorable milestones in my career as an Animation Storyteller and Filmmaker.
"Get Outside" (2020) is the animation music video for children collaborating with Wendy & DB during the time the Chicago city started reopening after the pandemic. Taking place in America suburb, the narrative of this project is set as a cute little girl and a boy who live next door who all wake up in the morning and soon realize the beautiful sunshine outside that for everyone to go outside and enjoy.
Inspired of German Expressionism and Surrealism, the “Memories" (2022) is my experimental short animation about the unconscious flashbacks of a former criminal during an investigative psychology research. Through a variety of animated art styles and mediums, the movie reveals different stories, secrets, and moments that happened in his past.
